After breakfast, board the Laos-China high-speed train for a scenic journey to Vang Vieng, a peaceful riverside town surrounded by dramatic limestone mountains.

Upon arrival, visit Tham Jang Cave, once used as a refuge by local villagers during historical conflicts and now one of Vang Vieng’s best-known landmarks.

Continue through picturesque rice paddies to Tham Phu Kham Cave, an impressive limestone cavern nestled within lush forest. A crystal-clear natural lagoon at its entrance offers the opportunity for a refreshing swim, while the surrounding countryside provides an authentic glimpse into rural Lao life.

After breakfast, continue your rail journey north to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Luang Prabang.

Upon arrival, visit the Royal Palace Museum, where royal artefacts offer insight into Laos’ fascinating history.

Later, climb Mount Phousi for panoramic views over the Mekong and Nam Khan Rivers before sunset.

In the evening, browse the lively Luang Prabang Night Market, renowned for locally made textiles, handicrafts, and artisan products.

After breakfast, embark on a scenic cruise along the Mekong River, enjoying views of tranquil riverside villages and forested hills.

Visit the revered Pak Ou Caves, home to thousands of Buddha statues placed by pilgrims over many centuries.

Continue to Ban Xang Hai, famous for its traditional Lao rice whisky, before crossing to Ban Xieng Mene and climbing to Wat Chom Phet, where spectacular views overlook Luang Prabang across the Mekong.

Return via the artisan villages of Ban Xang Khong and Ban Xieng Lek, celebrated for traditional silk weaving and handmade Saa paper production.
